Infosys Certification Program, commonly referred to as InfyTQ, is a 3-hour exam to test your industry-readiness. It challenges your knowledge in the field of Python Programming and Databases.
To register for the Infosys Certification, you must be a student of B.E., B.Tech, M.E., M.Tech., M.Sc., MCA or MCM. There is no other eligibility criteria for this program.
InfyTQ is a great opportunity for anyone who has got some hold in competitive programming and knows the basic concepts of Python Programming language . On scoring 65% or above, you become an Infosys Certified Software Programmer and are eligible for an on-the-spot job interview by Infosys. This interview will be up for the profile of System Engineers (Package : 3.60 lakhs per annum).

Tentative exam pattern for InfyTQ online test is provided below :
Tentative Weightage
Programming MCQ's : 40 marks (2*20, 2 marks per MCQ)
Hand's on Problem : 60 marks (30*2, 30 marks per Problem)
But, this is our approximation.
Cut-Off Marks
As of now, you might be getting an idea that for clearing this certification exam, it is mandatory for you to solve both hand's-on problems. And this is true indeed !!

Syllabus for this online exam is divided into four modules :
1. Programming Fundamentals using Python
2. Object Oriented Programming using Python
3. Data Structures & Algorithms using Python
4. Learning DBMS & SQL
All these four modules are more than enough for anyone who wants to prepare for this exam. Content is impressive as it is full of examples, exercises, assignments and number of hands-on questions. Modules are highly descriptive and are very easy to understand, even if you are a beginner.
Hence, these modules are sufficient for cracking the Objective (20 MCQ's) Section of this exam.
Out of 20, you may expect 8-10 questions from the last module "Learning DBMS & SQL". However, there is no written evidence that can prove this.
After online exam, next process is HR interview, if you have good communication skills, then it will be a cake-walk for you.
If you clear both ONLINE EXAM as well as HR interview, then only you will be selected for SE profile at Infosys. Also, you will be given a chance to upgrade your profile (and your package) to System Engineer Specialist or Power Programmer.

INFYTQ UPGRADE TEST
InfyTQ Upgrade Test is a great opportunity to upgrade your job profile SE to SES role (package : 5 lpa), or even to Power Programmer profile (package : 8 lpa) if you have got some serious coding skills. This is a web-proctored examination. It contains 3 coding problems that are required to solve within 180 minutes.
As per the observations, it was seen that people solving 1.5-2 coding problems were called for SES role and people solving more than 2 problems were called for PP role.
However, these stats are just provided to give an overview of how things goes.
As someone said, "You can not predict the competition !!"
